We are pleased to announce the opening of a state-of-the-art Rogosin Dialysis Center in the Methodist Home for Nursing and Rehabilitation in the Bronx. Rogosin and the Methodist Home are collaborating to provide the local community and Methodist Home residents who need dialysis treatment with the best possible care. Our first Bronx-based Dialysis Center will offer the same outstanding care as provided in other Rogosin Centers across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. The new 5,000-squarefoot facility includes 16 dialysis stations staffed with specially trained nurses and dialysis technicians. Dr. Thomas Nickolas, who is affiliated with NewYorkPresbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, has been appointed as Medical Director of the Center.
“Patients with kidney disease need easy access to high-quality care,” says David Wyman, President, Rogosin Institute. “We are excited to bring our leading model of care to the Bronx community and look forward to welcoming our first patients.”
