Rogosin staff are our healthcare heroes. They are here every day to care for our patients and support each other. Following are photos of some of these heroes and reflections on what this experience has meant at Rogosin.
“The past several months have been frightening for our patients and staff. I am constantly inspired by staff’s ability to continue to give even more of themselves during this time. Our patients have been comforted by their presence, concern, and dedication. Together, we are all better and stronger.”
– Jeffrey Silberzweig, MD, Chief Medical Officer
“While four of our technicians in the Biomedical Department were home recuperating from COVID-19, the rest of the Biomedical team worked together to give assistance wherever needed. When deliveries to our home patients were disrupted, they delivered vital supplies to patients’ homes. I am so grateful to be part of this Rogosin team.”
– Dominic Sugrue, Director, Biomedical Services
“So many Rogosin staff have persevered and made sacrifices to be here for our patients. They have gone above and beyond for our patients, while taking care of themselves and their families. I am proud to be part of such a committed and hardworking healthcare team. We will get through this pandemic together!”
– Diana P. Decolongon, Human Resources Director
“The dialysis unit staff have allowed our patients to continue their treatments and provided stability in exceedingly difficult circumstances. Their spirit has been amazing. Although frightened, they continue to provide excellent care to our patients, and we have not seen an increase in patient absences except for those who have been hospitalized. I suspect they see the dialysis unit as a safe place where they receive care by well-trained staff.”
– Diane Morris, MS, RN, CNN, Director of Nursing and Clinical Services
